Disney get in on the wireless action.

Disney are following in the footsteps of the Nintendo Wii, after teaming up with a company called Leapfrog to develop the Zippity. Leapfrog is a company that designs and creates innovative technology-based products with learning as there main focus. They have with Disney invented this educational, fun, interactive gaming device which is scheduled for a summer release.

The Zippity is aimed at children aged 3-5 to encourage learning through fun, games and full body movement. It consists of a sort of  dance mat and giant joystick type structure. And combining Leapfrogs children’s learning expertise with Disney’s history of story telling, it seems to have it all. As children play with the Zippity they can choose from activities such as dance, music, languages, mathematics, culture, etc.

I guess it’s about time toddler’s got in on the wireless technologies. I mean the Wii does cater for a broad age group, but kid’s are bound to be getting jealous of their parents and siblings taking over the television.
